How to add a signature in Yahoo Mail
How to add and change an email signature in Yahoo Mail on the web and in the Yahoo Mail app, and fix a missing logo or the Sent from Yahoo Mail line.

Add a signature in Yahoo Mail
To add a signature in Yahoo Mail, open Yahoo Mail in a browser on your computer and follow these steps:
- Click the "More options" icon, then "Settings".
- Click "Writing email".
- Click the toggle next to your email address to turn the signature on.
- Paste the signature into the text box.
Open a new email in Yahoo Mail to check that the signature is there.
In the older Yahoo Mail layout, the way into settings is different: click the "Settings Menu" icon, then "More Settings", then "Writing email". The toggle and the text box work as in the newer layout.
Change your Yahoo Mail signature
To change a signature in Yahoo Mail on the web, click the "More options" icon, then "Settings", then "Writing email". Delete what is in the text box under your email address and paste the new signature. To stop adding a signature, turn off the toggle next to your email address.
Yahoo Mail signature on iPhone and Android
Yahoo says the signature in the Yahoo Mail app is separate from the one saved on your computer, so set it in the app too. On an iPhone or iPad:
- In the Yahoo Mail app, tap the Profile icon, then "Settings".
- Tap "Signatures" under General.
- Turn on the toggle.
- Tap below your username and paste the signature.
- Tap the back arrow at the top left to save.
On Android, the Yahoo Mail app can use one signature for all the accounts in it:
- In the Yahoo Mail app, tap the Profile icon, then "Settings".
- Tap "Signatures" under General.
- Turn on "Include signature in new messages".
- Tap below it and paste the signature.
- Tap the back arrow at the top left to save.
For a different signature on each account in the Android app, turn on "Customise for each account" in "Signatures", tap the account, and paste its signature.
Yahoo's help pages are silent on whether the Yahoo Mail app keeps a pasted signature's formatting or images. Send yourself a test email from the app to see what arrives.
A different signature for each address in Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail keeps a separate signature for each email address added to your Yahoo account, including addresses from other providers. In Yahoo Mail on the web, "Settings" > "Writing email" gives each address its own toggle and text box. Turn on the toggle and paste a signature for each address you send from.

How do I add a logo to my Yahoo Mail signature?
In Yahoo Mail on the web, paste the whole signature into the text box under "Writing email". A photo or logo uploaded to Signatoro is hosted at a public web address with a fixed pixel width, so a signature made there brings the logo into Yahoo Mail as a link to the hosted image. Yahoo's help pages are silent on adding an image to a signature, and users have posted about trouble getting images into the signature box, most recently in 2025 and 2026. Send yourself a test email from Yahoo Mail to check that the logo arrives.
Why is my Yahoo Mail signature not showing on emails from my phone?
The Yahoo Mail app keeps its own signature, apart from the one in Yahoo Mail on the web; Yahoo says the app's signatures are separate from the ones saved on your computer. Why can't the person I emailed see the images in my Yahoo Mail signature?
The logo and photo in a signature from Signatoro load from the web when the email is opened, and many email apps ask before loading images. Until the person you emailed allows images, they see the signature's text and links without the pictures. Nothing needs changing in Yahoo Mail.

Paste the signature as formatted text, exactly as copied. Ask which addresses the person sends from and turn the signature on for each. If they also send from the Yahoo Mail app, set the signature there too, since the app keeps its own, and send a test email from the app.
