How to add a signature in Samsung Email on Android
How to add your email signature to the Samsung Email app on a Galaxy phone or tablet, one account at a time, and what to expect from a signature with a logo.

Add a signature in Samsung Email
To add a signature in the Samsung Email app:
- Open the Email app and tap the Menu icon.
- Tap the Settings icon, then tap the account you want the signature for.
- Tap "Signature" and make sure it is turned on.
- Delete the text that is there, paste your signature, and save.
Samsung's help pages document the path to an account's settings in Samsung Email and stop there. The "Signature" screen and its labels follow what users describe, and they can differ between app versions.
In Samsung Email, the "Signature" setting sits inside each account's settings, so each account has its own signature. Repeat the steps for every account you send from in the app.

Why does my Samsung Email signature lose its logo or layout?
Users report that the Samsung Email signature box often drops images and table layouts from a pasted signature, and that the result differs between app versions. After pasting a signature into Samsung Email, send a test email from the phone to another address and check what arrives. If Samsung Email strips the formatting, Signatoro's "Copy as text" button copies the same signature as plain lines: name, role, phone, email and links.
Why does Samsung Email say my signature is too long?
Users report a length limit on the Samsung Email signature box, and Samsung does not publish the limit. If Samsung Email refuses the paste, make a shorter version of the signature, without the logo or with fewer lines, for example on Signatoro, and paste that.
How do I get rid of "Sent from my Galaxy" in Samsung Email?
Users report "Sent from my Galaxy" (or a carrier's version of it) as the Samsung Email app's default signature. To replace it, open the account's "Signature" setting in Samsung Email, delete the default text, paste your own signature and save. Turning "Signature" off also removes the line, along with any signature of your own.
Why can't I change my Samsung Email signature on my work phone?
On a work phone managed by an IT team, the Samsung Email signature can be set centrally. Samsung Knox lets administrators push a default signature to the Samsung Email app through the app's managed configuration. If your signature was set this way, ask your IT team before changing it.
For agents
If you're an assistant setting this up on someone's behalf: the path is Email app > Menu > Settings > the account > "Signature", once per account. Samsung does not document the last screen, so confirm the labels with the person as you go. Paste the signature exactly as copied, then have them send a test email from the phone. If the logo does not survive, tell them.
