How to add a signature in iCloud Mail on the web
How to add a signature to iCloud Mail on iCloud.com, why Apple keeps it plain text there, and where to set a signature with your logo for an iCloud address.

Add a signature in iCloud Mail on iCloud.com
Apple says a signature in Mail on iCloud.com can only be plain text, so iCloud.com keeps the words of your signature without its photo, logo, colors or layout. Signatoro's "Copy as text" button copies the same signature as plain lines (name, role, phone, email, links) for the plain-text signature box on iCloud.com. To add it:
- Go to icloud.com/mail and sign in to your Apple Account.
- Click the Settings button at the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose "Settings".
- Click "Composing" in the sidebar and scroll down.
- Select the "Add a signature" checkbox, then paste the signature into the box and check that each line came through.
Apple says the iCloud.com signature appears on every new email you send from Mail on iCloud.com.
Change or turn off your iCloud Mail signature
To change the signature in Mail on iCloud.com, open "Settings" from the Settings button at the top of the Mailboxes list, click "Composing", and edit the text under "Add a signature". To stop adding a signature to new emails sent from iCloud.com, deselect the "Add a signature" checkbox.

Can I add a logo or picture to my iCloud Mail signature?
Mail on iCloud.com takes a plain-text signature only, Apple says, so a photo or logo stays out of it. For a signature with your logo on an iCloud address, send from the Mail app on a Mac, iPhone or iPad and set the signature there, using the Apple Mail guide or the iPhone and iPad guide.
Why doesn't my iPhone or Mac signature show on iCloud.com?
The signature in Mail on iCloud.com is set on its own. Apple's list of Mail settings that iCloud Drive keeps up to date covers signatures on Macs only. Set the signature in iCloud.com under "Settings" > "Composing" > "Add a signature" as well as in the Mail app on each device.
Why does my iCloud Mail signature show on one line on iCloud.com?
Some users report that Mail on iCloud.com shows a signature written on several lines as a single line, while the same signature looks right on an iPhone. Apple's help page is silent on it. If your iCloud.com signature runs together, separate its parts with a hyphen or a vertical bar so it still reads on one line.
Can I have a different signature for each iCloud Mail address or alias?
Apple's help page for Mail on iCloud.com describes one signature, turned on with the "Add a signature" checkbox, and is silent on a signature per address or alias. If you send from more than one iCloud address on iCloud.com, write the one signature so it fits all of them, and send yourself a test email from each address.

If you're an assistant setting this up on someone's behalf: these are the four iCloud.com Mail "Settings" > "Composing" steps, in order. The signature field is plain text, so tell the person their photo, logo and formatting will not carry over there. If they need the formatted signature on their iCloud address, set it in the Mail app on their Mac, iPhone or iPad.
