Grok Bot is a separate app from Grok, the xAI chatbot. A Bot works on a cloud computer with a browser and a terminal, and keeps working between conversations. You sign in with a Cursor account, and Grok Bot comes with paid Cursor plans and Cursor Teams, or with a linked SuperGrok or X Premium+ subscription.
Grok, the chatbot at grok.com, sends email through its own Gmail and Outlook connectors. Its page is Grok email signature.
A Bot can have several mailboxes at once. When more than one could send an email, it asks you which to use.
On October 10, 2026, Signatoro tested Grok Bot 0.68.1 with default signatures set in Gmail and in Outlook. Every email the Bot sent through the Gmail and Outlook plugins arrived ending with its last line of text, with drafts on and with drafts off. The mail.grokbot.com and AgentMail addresses carry no signature either.
The Bot adds the signature itself, and Signatoro gives it the one to add.
Your Bot fetches the signature from Signatoro before each email, so every email carries the current version. Signatoro tested this with a Grok Bot on October 8, 2026.
A Bot sending from your Gmail or Outlook sends from your own mailbox, so it uses your signature. The mail.grokbot.com and AgentMail addresses are agent addresses, so email from them carries an AI assistant signature that says an AI sent it.
Each AI assistant or agent gets its own key or MCP connection and signs as the person it works for or as itself, by default with a line saying it is an AI and whom it acts for. Free includes 1 AI assistant; each person on a Company plan gets 3 AI assistants, and the company gets 3, 10 or 25 agents by size, on top of the people the plan covers.
Add an AI assistant on Signatoro, choose whether it signs as you or as the agent, and generate a key for it. Give the Bot your key and the assistant's key, and tell it to use the assistant's key for email from the agent address.
In Signatoro's test of Grok Bot 0.68.1 on October 10, 2026, emails sent through the Gmail and Outlook plugins arrived ending at the body, with default signatures set in both and drafts on and off. Give the Bot your signature through the Signatoro API.
Yes. You can claim one agent address at mail.grokbot.com, and all your Bots share it to send and receive. On a Cursor team, an admin turns on Agent Email first.
The one you ask for. With Gmail or Outlook connected and a mail.grokbot.com address claimed, the Bot asks which account to send from when either could work.
They are separate xAI products. Grok is the chatbot at grok.com; Grok Bot is an always-on agent in its own app, signed in with a Cursor account.
Checked against xAI and Cursor documentation on October 10, 2026, and tested with Grok Bot 0.68.1 the same day.
