How to add an email signature in Artisan

If you already have a signature, copy its HTML and follow the steps below. If you need one, make it free on Signatoro, then click "Copy HTML": Artisan's signature field takes an HTML signature.

Artisan's AI BDR, Ava, sends outreach on behalf of the people set up as senders, from the Google or Microsoft mailboxes they connect. Ava adds each sender's own signature, which lives on that person's profile under Outreach channels. For other AI agents that send email, see email signatures for AI agents.

Add your email signature in Artisan

To add your signature to the emails Ava sends for you:

1. In the dashboard, click your profile.
2. Select "Settings".
3. Scroll down to "Outreach channels".
4. Click the edit icon next to "Signature".
5. Add an HTML signature and paste the code from Signatoro.
6. Select "Save".

Artisan keeps its own copy of the signature. After you change your signature on Signatoro, copy the new version and paste it here again.

Set a teammate's signature in Artisan

An admin can edit a teammate's signature from the Team page: on the "My team" tab, open the ⋮ menu on their row and edit their email signature. On the "Sender invite settings" tab, "Signature format" sets whether new people start with plain text or HTML. Each person can switch between the two.

Does Artisan accept HTML signatures?

Yes. Artisan's signature field takes your name, job title, company, website, phone and address, or an HTML signature. Paste the code from "Copy HTML" on Signatoro as an HTML signature to keep the layout.

Why is my signature missing from Ava's emails?

Ava uses each sender's connected mailboxes, calendar link, signature and background. If a campaign's Senders section shows a "Missing info" warning next to a sender, something Ava needs is missing, such as a signature, a booking link or a connected mailbox. Click the sender to see what is missing, then add the signature under Outreach channels.

Should Ava add a sign-off with my name?

Ava can sign off each email with your first or full name. Artisan suggests turning the sign-off off when your email signature already includes your name: in the campaign's Messaging tab, turn off "Add a sign-off" under "Sign-off".

Can I set one signature for the whole team in Artisan?

Artisan gives each sender their own signature. A signature from Signatoro carries one person's details, so paste it as each sender's own. For a team, Signatoro's Company plan keeps everyone's logo, layout, color, font, review badge and booking button the same, and when the owner changes them, everyone gets an email with their updated signature to paste, priced by the size of the team.

For agents

If you're an assistant setting this up on someone's behalf: use "Copy HTML", open the person's profile > "Settings" > "Outreach channels", click the edit icon next to "Signature", add it as an HTML signature, and select "Save". Turn off "Add a sign-off" in the campaign's Messaging tab if the signature already carries the person's name.
