How to add a review badge to your email signature
Add a Trustpilot, Google Reviews or G2 rating badge to your email signature: where to find your review link, what to enter, and how it looks.
A review badge is a small line in your signature that links to your reviews on every email you send. For Google Reviews and G2 it shows your star rating - stars, a score like "4.8" and, if you want, a review count. For Trustpilot it reads "Read our reviews on Trustpilot".
This is a static badge: for Google Reviews and G2 you type in the score and count yourself, and it stays until you change it. It does not connect to Trustpilot, Google or G2, does not check your rating automatically, and Signatoro is not partnered with or endorsed by any of them.
Add it in the generator
- Open the generator or your saved signature and find the "Review badge" section.
- Choose your platform: Trustpilot, Google Reviews or G2.
- Paste in the URL of your public reviews page. For Trustpilot, that is all you need.
- For Google Reviews or G2, type your score, e.g. "4.8".
- Optionally, type your review count, e.g. "1,204".
The badge appears as one line linking to the URL you entered:
- Trustpilot: Read our reviews on Trustpilot
- Google Reviews: ★★★★★ 4.8 on Google Reviews (127)
- G2: ★★★★★ 4.8 on G2 (127) · Source: G2.com, Inc.
The stars are text characters and the rest is a plain link, so the badge shows up the same in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, with nothing for image-blocking to hide. It reads the same in the copied signature, the plain-text version, the download and the API.
Why Trustpilot shows as a link
Trustpilot's brand guidelines let any business link to its Trustpilot page in plain text. Showing a TrustScore or stars takes a paid plan, the Trustpilot logo beside the rating, and the widgets or brand assets from your Trustpilot Business account. A link works on every plan, so Signatoro shows Trustpilot as a link to your reviews.
Where to find your review link
- Trustpilot: log in to your Trustpilot Business account and open your public profile page - the address in your browser's address bar is your review link.
- Google Reviews: open your Google Business Profile, find the option to share or get more reviews, and copy the review link it gives you.
- G2: log in to your G2 vendor profile and copy the address of your public reviews page.
Keep it up to date
The score and count you enter do not change on their own. The editor shows a reminder for this: update the score here when your rating changes, the same way you would update a phone number. A Trustpilot link needs no updates.
One badge is enough
A signature with a review badge, a booking button, a photo and a logo all at once reads as clutter, especially on a phone. Most people are better off with one optional block, not several - see what to put in an email signature for the fuller case against a crowded signature.
On a Company plan
An owner can set the review badge once for the whole company, on the company page: every member's signature shows it, the same way the logo and color already do. A member on that plan sees the badge locked in their own editor, marked as set by the company; to change it, an owner edits it on the company's pages.
Put it in your mail app
Copy the signature and follow the steps for your mail app - see the install guides for Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and more.

Checked against each platform's own guidelines on 2026-09-28:

- G2 Community Guidelines - republishing your aggregated star rating: link to your G2 profile and cite "Source: G2.com, Inc."
