How to add a signature in GoDaddy email

If you already have a signature, copy it and follow the steps below. If you need one, make it free on Signatoro, then click "Copy signature".

GoDaddy's help center covers three email products, and each one keeps its signature setting in a different place: Professional Email powered by Titan, Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, and the older Professional Email. To see which one you have, sign in to GoDaddy's Email & Office Dashboard with your GoDaddy username and password and look for the product name there. If you read your GoDaddy mail in Outlook on the web, you have Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy.

Add a signature in GoDaddy Professional Email powered by Titan

GoDaddy's Professional Email powered by Titan uses Titan's webmail. Sign in to webmail with your email address and its own password, then:

1. Click the "Settings" (gear) icon at the top right, then "Preferences".
2. In the left sidebar, click "Signatures", then "Add Signature".
3. Enter a name, paste the signature into the box, and click "Save".
4. Under "Signature defaults", pick the signature for new emails, replies and forwards.

Add a signature in Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy

In Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, the signature lives in Outlook. GoDaddy's steps for Outlook on the web, signed in with your Microsoft 365 email address and its password:

1. In the upper-right corner, select "Settings".
2. Select "Account", then "Signatures".
3. Under "Email signature", enter a signature name and paste the signature into the details box.
4. Under "Select default signatures", choose the signature for "New Messages" and "Replies/Forwards".
5. Select "Save".

For Outlook for Windows or Mac, follow the Outlook guide for your version.

Add a signature in the older GoDaddy Professional Email

In the older GoDaddy Professional Email webmail, the signature setting is under "All Settings":

1. Click the settings gear at the top right, then "Settings".
2. Click "All Settings", then "Mail", then "Signatures".
3. Add a new signature, give it a name, paste the signature, and save.

GoDaddy's help page stops at the "Signatures" section, so follow the labels on your screen from there. GoDaddy also says it is moving Professional Email accounts to Microsoft 365.

Why won't my GoDaddy username and password open my email?

GoDaddy webmail and Outlook open with your email address and that mailbox's own password, and GoDaddy's help pages repeat this on each sign-in step. Your GoDaddy username and password open your GoDaddy account and the Email & Office Dashboard, where you manage the mailbox. Use the email password to sign in to webmail or Outlook and add a signature.

Where is the signature setting in my GoDaddy Outlook email?

In Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, the signature setting is in Outlook on the web. Sign in to Outlook on the web with your Microsoft 365 email address and its password, select "Settings" in the upper-right corner, then "Account" and "Signatures". GoDaddy's Email & Office Dashboard, reached with your GoDaddy login, is for managing the mailbox.

Does GoDaddy's "Create email signature" add the signature to my emails?

The "Create email signature" tool in GoDaddy's Email & Office Dashboard only builds a signature and copies it with "Copy to Clipboard": you then paste it into Outlook or webmail yourself. A signature from Signatoro goes in the same way: paste it into the signature setting of the GoDaddy email product you have.

Why is my GoDaddy email signature not showing on replies?

Each GoDaddy email product sets replies separately from new emails. In Professional Email powered by Titan, choose the signature for replies and forwards under "Signature defaults" in Titan's "Preferences" > "Signatures". In Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, choose it for "Replies/Forwards" under "Select default signatures" in Outlook's signature settings, then select "Save".

Why does my GoDaddy signature logo show up as an attachment in Gmail?

Users of Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy report that a logo inserted from a file on their computer reached Gmail as an attachment, with a line of code where the logo should be. A photo or logo uploaded to Signatoro is hosted at a public web address with a fixed pixel width, so it loads from that address when the email opens. Paste the Signatoro signature, then send a test email to a Gmail address to check how the logo arrives.

Did my signature move when GoDaddy moved my email to Microsoft 365?

Email signatures stay behind when GoDaddy moves Professional Email accounts to Microsoft 365. GoDaddy's help page on the move lists signatures, email templates, inbox rules and block and allow lists as things to recreate. After the move, add the signature again in Outlook, as in Add a signature in Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, signed in with the same email address and password.

Why don't the GoDaddy Workspace webmail signature steps work anymore?

Guides that mention "More Settings" or "Automatically add signature to new messages" describe GoDaddy's Workspace webmail, an older product. GoDaddy's help pages describe moving Workspace Email accounts to Microsoft 365, and its current help covers the three GoDaddy email products on this page. If your GoDaddy mail opens in Outlook on the web, add the signature under "Settings" > "Account" > "Signatures" there.

If you're an assistant setting this up on someone's behalf: first find which GoDaddy product the address is on. For Professional Email powered by Titan, use Titan's Settings > Preferences > Signatures and set "Signature defaults" for new emails, replies and forwards. For Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, use Outlook on the web: Settings > Account > Signatures, and set "Select default signatures". For the older Professional Email, use Settings > All Settings > Mail > Signatures. Paste the signature as formatted text, exactly as copied. Sign in with the email address and its own password; the GoDaddy account login is for the account and the Email & Office Dashboard.
