How to add a signature in Titan Email

If you already have a signature, copy it and follow the steps below. If you need one, make it free on Signatoro, then click "Copy signature".

Titan is the email service that some web hosts sell with a domain or hosting plan. Hostinger sells it as Titan Email, and Bluehost sells it as Bluehost Professional Email. If you sign in to Titan webmail with your email address and its password, this Titan Email guide is for you.

Add a signature in Titan Email

To add a signature in Titan Email, use Titan webmail on a computer:

1. Click the "Settings" (gear) icon at the top right, then "Preferences".
2. In the left sidebar, click "Signatures", then "Add Signature".
3. Enter a name to help you find this signature later.
4. Paste the signature into the box and click "Save".
5. Under "Signature defaults", pick the signature in the dropdown for each case you want: new emails, replies and forwards.

Change your Titan Email signature

To change a signature in Titan Email, open "Preferences" > "Signatures" in Titan webmail, edit the saved signature, delete what is in the box, and paste the new one from Signatoro, and save it.

Titan Email signature in the Titan app

A signature saved in Titan webmail syncs to the Titan app on iPhone and Android, so most people have nothing to set up on the phone. To add or change a signature in the Titan app itself:

1. Tap the "Settings" icon in the bottom navigation, then "Signatures".
2. Tap "Add", paste the signature and tap "Save".
3. Set it as the default for outgoing emails.

Titan's help page mentions bold and italics for signatures written in the Titan app. For a signature with a photo or logo, add it in Titan webmail on a computer, then send a test email from the Titan app on your phone.

Use a different signature on one email in Titan Email

To use a different signature on one email in Titan Email, click the signature icon in the bottom toolbar of the message you are writing, to the right of the emoji icon, and pick a saved signature. The signature is added to the bottom of that email.

Why is my Titan Email signature not showing on replies or forwards?

In Titan Email, a signature is added on its own only in the cases where it is set as the default. Open "Preferences" > "Signatures" in Titan webmail, go to "Signature defaults", and choose the signature in the dropdown for replies and for forwards as well as for new emails. Each of the three dropdowns is set on its own.

Why is my logo not showing on emails from my Titan address?

A logo in your Titan Email signature and the round picture next to your name in the recipient's inbox are two different things. The signature logo loads from the web, and many email apps ask before loading images, so it can stay hidden until the recipient allows images. For the picture next to your name, Titan says your profile picture is visible only to you, and offers a Google account workaround that shows your logo to Gmail recipients.

Why is my Titan signature missing when I send from Outlook, iPhone Mail or Gmail?

A signature saved in Titan webmail syncs to Titan's own webmail and apps. Outlook, iPhone Mail, Gmail and other apps connected to a Titan address over IMAP keep their own signature setting, and Titan lists "Signature Designer" among the features those apps do not get. Can I paste HTML code into my Titan Email signature?

Yes. Titan Email has an "Edit as HTML" option in the signature box, and Titan lists the tags it accepts there: tables, links, images, spans, divs, paragraphs and basic text formatting. For a signature from Signatoro, skip "Edit as HTML" and paste the copied signature into the Titan signature box: the formatting comes with it.

Why can't I use the signature templates in Titan Email?

The templates in Titan's "Signature Designer" come with some Titan plans only, and the Free plan leaves the designer out. If the templates are missing, add the signature through "Preferences" > "Signatures" in Titan webmail instead. A signature made free on Signatoro and pasted into that box works on any Titan plan, the Free plan included.

Why can't I edit my signature in the Titan app?

The Titan app opens a view-only preview for signatures built with Titan's premium templates in "Signature Designer". The message reads "This signature is created using premium templates. Use Titan webmail to manage it." Edit that signature in Titan webmail on a computer. The view-only rule covers template signatures, so a signature pasted in "Preferences" > "Signatures" can be edited in the Titan app too.

For agents

If you're an assistant setting this up on someone's behalf: in Titan webmail, open Settings > Preferences > Signatures, click "Add Signature", name it, paste the signature as formatted text exactly as copied, and click "Save". Leave "Edit as HTML" alone. Then set the signature under "Signature defaults" for new emails, replies and forwards, the three cases where Titan adds it on its own. If the person sends from Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone Mail or Gmail connected to the Titan address, set the signature in that app as well.
