Claude Duet email signature
Claude Duet is Anthropic's proactive personal agent, in research preview on a waitlist. It drafts and sends email from you after you approve it, and Signatoro gives it your signature to end that email with.
What Claude Duet is
Duet is a research preview on a waitlist for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US; Team and Enterprise plans are not included yet. It runs as its own standalone app on iOS and Android, plus a web app at claude.ai, and Anthropic says it uses your Claude account, including your memory, skills and connectors. Anthropic says Duet works with more than 6,000 connectors and plugins.
Duet drafts a reply and asks before a sensitive step such as sending it, so an email goes out from you only once you say yes.
Give Duet your signature
Duet uses your Claude account's own connectors, so start with the one connector Claude already supports.
- If you have not already, connect Signatoro from Claude's connector directory (https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/signatoro). This is the same connection the "Claude email signature" guide sets up.
- Tell Duet, in a message: "Before you send any email, fetch my signature from https://signatoro.com/api/v1/signature and end the email with it." That is the email signature rule in full, and it can be saved as a skill if Duet uses the skills on your account.
- If a connector or skill is not available to Duet yet, give it the text instead: on Signatoro, click "Copy as text," then tell Duet "End every email you send with this signature, exactly as written:" and paste it below. A pasted copy needs a new paste after you change your signature.
- Keep an eye on the first draft until one email Duet sends ends with your signature, once.
What your recipients see at the bottom
Signatoro has not tested Duet directly: it is a day-old research preview reachable only through a waitlist. Every agent Signatoro has tested that sends through a connector or an API, rather than typing in a mail app's own compose window, ends the email wherever its own text ends, with no signature added. Until Duet can be tested the same way, give it your signature through the steps above so an email it sends on your behalf does not end without one.

What is Claude Duet?

Does Claude Duet add my Gmail or Outlook signature?
Signatoro has not tested Duet directly. Every connector or API send Signatoro has tested from other AI agents skips the mail app's own saved signature, since it never opens that compose window. Give Duet your signature through Signatoro so the email does not end without one.
Can I use the Signatoro connector I already use in Claude?
Anthropic says Duet uses your Claude account's own connectors, which should include one you already connected in Claude, such as Signatoro's. We have not yet confirmed that every connector carries over to Duet specifically. If Duet does not pick it up, paste your signature as text instead; this page will update once that is confirmed.
Is Claude Duet the same as Claude or Claude Code?
No. Claude is the assistant you chat with; Claude Code is the coding agent. Claude Duet is a separate, proactive agent built on the same Claude account, drafting and sending email and other actions on its own once you approve them.
