ChatGPT is OpenAI's assistant, not a dedicated inbox or agent-mailbox product. Two routes reach Signatoro: a Signatoro connector added to ChatGPT in developer mode for use inside a chat, or an agent a company builds on the OpenAI API that calls Signatoro itself before it sends (developer mode and the Apps SDK, checked 1 October 2026).
ChatGPT, or an agent built on it, fetches one company signature from Signatoro at send time, via https://signatoro.com/mcp or the REST API.
Not a native integration. Not built in, not a marketplace listing, not a company-wide key.
Each agent is its own Signatoro person, with a signature of its own to fetch.
On the Up to 15 plan or larger, the fetched signature carries the compliance footnote too - the same one every member gets.
Companies try more than one AI agent, or switch which one sends their mail. Because the signature stays in Signatoro rather than inside any one agent, adding ChatGPT alongside Squad, Viktor, or a mailbox does not mean building the signature again - it applies the same saved signature the person already has.
