TL;DR: Arobis AI ranks first for B2B SaaS on our criteria: it publishes its prices, its prompt set and its engines, shows an AI result with a time window, and names review-site, directory and third-party work as part of the service. Optimist is the lowest-cost entry point with month-to-month terms, Discovered Labs suits technical teams that want Reddit and AI research built in, and Graphite fits well-funded companies that want a research-led program. Only 3 of the 7 agencies publish a price, so expect a sales call for the rest.
What does an AI SEO agency do?
An AI SEO agency works to get your company named and cited when buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews which product to buy, while keeping your classic Google rankings. The work has two halves: fixing your own site so AI systems can read and trust it, and getting your product described consistently on the third-party pages those systems quote.
The second half matters more than most teams expect. When Ahrefs studied 75,000 brands, the factors most closely tied to appearing in Google's AI Overviews were all off-site, led by branded web mentions. You'll also see the same work sold as GEO (generative engine optimization), AEO (answer engine optimization) or LLM SEO. The labels differ; the job is the same.

How we evaluated these agencies
We started from agencies that appear repeatedly in AI search roundups and kept only those whose own site names AI search, AEO, GEO or LLM visibility as a service and lists B2B or SaaS clients. Then we checked five things a buyer can verify before the first call, using only what each agency publishes on its own website:
- Off-site work (third-party presence, Reddit, digital PR, reviews or directories) is named as part of the service.
- The agency publishes original research on AI search.
- A price or budget floor is published.
- Contract terms are stated.
- At least one AI search result is shown with a number attached.

Five of the seven name off-site work, which is encouraging, since that's where AI recommendations are won. Four publish their own AI search research. Only three publish a price and state their terms, and just two show an AI search result with a number: Arobis AI (a client named in 5 of 5 buyer prompts after 60 days) and Single Grain (10 monthly sales-qualified leads from LLMs for SmartRent). Arobis AI is the only agency that clears all five checks.

We didn't hire these agencies. Everything below is what each one states on its own pages, so ask every agency to show you the prompts, engines and dates behind any number before you sign.
1. Arobis AI: best AI SEO agency for B2B SaaS

Best for: B2B SaaS companies whose buyers research vendors in AI tools · Price: $2,500/month Foundation, $5,000/month AI Search Growth, custom Enterprise · Terms: 3-month minimum
Arobis AI is an AI search demand generation agency that works mainly with B2B SaaS, and it's the most transparent offer on this list. Its published plans and pricing spell out the work. It starts with an audit of 40 buyer prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, with every answer recorded, plus a gap map of which competitors get recommended instead and which sources AI quotes for them. The team then implements the top fixes on your site (schema, entity pages, llms.txt, page structure, internal links), rewrites the pages AI pulls for buying questions, such as comparison, alternatives and pricing pages, and places your brand in the third-party sources AI engines cite every month.
The AI Search Growth plan adds the off-site layer most agencies leave to you: reviews, roundups, partner and directory placements, Wikidata, Crunchbase and G2 consistency work, and weekly answer re-checks with same-week fixes when a competitor displaces you. Every client also gets a private portal with SEO and AI visibility dashboards. The proof on its pricing page is one anonymized client over 60 days: named in 0 of 5 money prompts at the start and 5 of 5 at the end, a 31% share of AI answers (first of 8 brands) and 3.1x growth in Google AI Overview and AI Mode impressions.
Watch out for: client names aren't published, so ask to see the prompt set and before-and-after answers under NDA. It's built for B2B SaaS, so consumer and local businesses are a weaker fit.
2. Optimist: best for B2B tech teams that want senior consulting

Best for: B2B tech marketing teams with their own writers · Price: retainers start at $3,000/month · Terms: month-to-month
Optimist describes itself as an SEO and AI search consulting firm for B2B tech, built around its CORE Framework for ranking in search, getting recommended by LLMs and generating inbound demand. Engagements start with a 6 to 12 month plan covering technical and on-page work, content, messaging alignment and third-party presence, then move to month-to-month retainers that include weekly AI visibility tracking and a shared Slack. It has been doing organic growth work since 2016, and its homepage highlights results such as 14x more leads from SEO and a 1,270% rise in organic blog traffic.
Watch out for: it's a consulting model, so your team still produces much of the work. The headline results on its homepage are SEO numbers; ask for an AI search before-and-after.
3. Discovered Labs: best for technical teams that want Reddit and research built in

Best for: B2B SaaS teams that value a data-heavy approach · Price: Establish €6,995/month and Compete €10,995/month at their best (six-month) rates · Terms: month-to-month, with a lower rate for 3 or 6 month commitments
Discovered Labs calls itself an AEO and GEO agency for B2B companies and sells answer engine optimization, Reddit marketing, SEO and link building. Its pricing page is unusually specific: the Establish tier includes up to 20 content units a month, a consistency audit of how your brand shows up across the sources AI models read, and Reddit engagement scaled to 10 mentions a month, run by a four-person pod in Slack. It also publishes research, including a statistical analysis of 2 million AI citations across 10,000 pages.
Watch out for: it's priced well above the first two agencies, and prices are in euros, so check the exchange rate in your budget.
4. SimpleTiger: best for SaaS that wants AEO, SEO and paid from one team

Best for: SaaS companies from seed stage to enterprise · Price: custom packages
SimpleTiger is a B2B SaaS marketing agency that sells Search Visibility (SEO plus AEO) aimed at Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, alongside paid search, content, link building and digital PR. Its combined SEO and GEO/AEO packages run in tiers starting with Kickstart, and every package includes Slack access, a project portal, performance reporting and an account manager. It also publishes The AI Search Report newsletter.
Watch out for: no prices or terms are published, and every package is customized, so you'll need a call to compare it with the agencies above.
5. Minuttia: best for SaaS content programs moving into AI search

Best for: SaaS companies with an established content program · Price: not published
Minuttia is a content and SEO agency for SaaS that has moved hard into AI search. It publishes an AI search visibility study of 24,067 prompts across five AI search platforms, a State of AEO report and an AEO course, and its case studies include Toggl (7 million impressions) and 123.7% organic growth for an eLearning SaaS, plus a technical SaaS it helped turn AI search into an acquisition channel.
Watch out for: its published results are mostly classic SEO numbers, and pricing isn't public. Ask for the AI search metrics behind the technical SaaS case study.
6. Graphite: best for well-funded companies that want a research-led program

Best for: larger companies with budget for research-led AEO and SEO · Price: not published
Graphite describes itself as a research-driven growth agency whose AI research team identifies the 5% of AEO, SEO and performance strategies that drive impact. Its AEO team is led by CEO Ethan Smith with Chief AI Officer Gregory Druck, PhD, and its published positions are specific, for example that great SEO is free AEO and off-site work is the difference. It lists Webflow, n8n and Hinge Health as clients.
Watch out for: there's no public pricing, and the client list points to well-funded companies. Early-stage SaaS teams may find it more than they need.
7. Single Grain: best when AI search should feed pipeline and paid media

Best for: growth teams that want SEO, AI search and paid media under one roof · Price: not published
Single Grain, led by Eric Siu, is a revenue marketing agency that sells what it calls Search Everywhere Optimization, alongside technical SEO, Reddit marketing and paid advertising. It's one of only two agencies here with a numbered AI search result: its SmartRent case study reports 10 sales-qualified leads a month coming from LLMs.
Watch out for: Single Grain works across many industries, so ask for B2B SaaS examples specifically, and confirm how much of the retainer goes to AI search versus paid media.
What does your email signature have to do with AI search?
More than you'd think. AI engines decide what your company is by reading every place it's described, and the strongest predictor of being mentioned in Google's AI Overviews in Ahrefs' study was branded web mentions, not backlinks. Every email your team sends carries your company name, a description, links and a job title. When those details match across your site, profiles and outbound email, you reinforce one clear identity; when they drift, you create noise.

That gets more important as AI agents start sending email for you. An SDR agent, a support agent and your human team should all present the same company name, the same one-line description and the same links. A shared company email signature keeps people consistent, and signatures that also cover AI agents sending email extend that to automated replies. If agents write to customers, add a clear AI email disclosure too; trust is part of brand consistency.
None of this replaces the work the agencies above do. It's the cheapest brand-consistency fix most B2B companies haven't made, and it supports everything else.

Questions to ask before you sign
- Which buyer prompts will you track, on which engines, and how often? Get the list in writing.
- Which third-party sources do AI engines cite for our category today? A good agency shows you actual URLs.
- Who does the off-site work? Reviews, directories, roundups and Reddit decide most recommendations.
- What does month one deliver? An audit alone is not progress.
- What are the exit terms? Minimum term, notice period and who owns the content.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI SEO agency?
An AI SEO agency helps your company get named and cited in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews, as well as rank in classic search. The work combines on-site fixes, content built for AI answers and off-site presence on the sources AI engines quote.
How much does an AI SEO agency cost?
Among the agencies on this list that publish a price, monthly retainers start at $2,500 (Arobis AI Foundation) and $3,000 (Optimist) and reach €10,995 (Discovered Labs Compete). The other four quote on a call. Minimum terms range from month-to-month to three months.
What is the difference between AI SEO, GEO and AEO?
They describe the same goal with different labels. AI SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) usually refer to chat assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity; AEO (answer engine optimization) is used more for Google's AI Overviews and answer boxes. Agencies use the terms almost interchangeably.
How long does AI SEO take to show results?
Expect weeks to months, not days. Arobis AI says first new citations usually appear within 30 to 60 days and recommendation changes on core buyer prompts within 60 to 90 days. AI engines recrawl and re-rank on their own schedules, so results arrive in steps.
Does an email signature affect AI search visibility?
Indirectly. AI engines build their picture of a company from consistent mentions across the web, and branded web mentions were the strongest factor in Ahrefs' study of AI Overview visibility. Consistent company names, descriptions and links in every email, from people and AI agents, support that picture.
Facts checked on each agency's own website on October 28, 2026. Ahrefs figures are Spearman correlations across 75,000 brands, not causation.
