# Black Friday email signature: add a sale line for the whole team, and take it off on time

Add a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale line to everyone's email signature at once, with 20 lines to copy, the 2026 dates, and a plan to take it off on Tuesday.

A Black Friday email signature line puts your sale under every email your team sends, including replies to people who never open your newsletter. In 2026, Black Friday is Friday, November 27 and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Write one short line with the offer and the day it ends, put it under everyone's signature a few days before, and take it off on Tuesday, December 1. Below are 20 sale lines to copy and the steps to run it for a whole team.

## Black Friday and Cyber Monday dates for 2026

| Day | Date |
| --- | --- |
| Thanksgiving (US federal holiday) | Thursday, November 26, 2026 |
| Black Friday | Friday, November 27, 2026 |
| Cyber Monday | Monday, November 30, 2026 |
| First day without the sale line | Tuesday, December 1, 2026 |

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, which the US Office of Personnel Management lists for Thursday, November 26, 2026. Cyber Monday is the Monday after.

## What a good sale line says

- **The offer**, in numbers: "30% off", "2 months free".
- **The day it ends**, as a weekday and a date: "ends Monday, November 30".
- **Where to get it**: a short web address or a code.
- **One line.** A signature sits under every reply, and a second paragraph of offer pushes your name and phone number out of sight.

## A text line reads everywhere; a banner needs images on

An image banner is the larger, brighter option, and the one more likely to go missing. Many mail apps hold back pictures in an email until the reader allows them, so a banner can arrive as an empty box. A line of text reads in every mail app, with images on or off.

If you do use an image, give it a fixed width, host it at a public web address, and put the offer in its alt text so a reader with images off still sees it.

## How to add the sale line for the whole team

### In each person's mail app

Without a signature tool, someone writes the line, sends it round, and asks everyone to paste it under their signature in their mail app. The install guides walk through each one, such as [Gmail](https://signatoro.com/docs/install-signature/gmail) and [Outlook](https://signatoro.com/docs/install-signature/outlook). On Tuesday, the same person asks everyone to delete it again.

### With Signatoro

Signatoro is the agentic email signature platform: save your signature once, and your people and every AI agent you connect use the same one. On a Company plan that includes the company footnote (see [pricing](https://signatoro.com/pricing)), the owner writes one footnote that goes under every member's signature and every company AI agent's signature:

1. On the Company brand page, turn on the compliance footnote and write the sale line in Footnote text. If the footnote already holds a confidentiality notice or a registered-office line, add the sale line above it on its own line and keep the rest.
2. Save. Everyone gets their updated signature by email to paste, and members who connected Zoho Mail get it there without pasting (except Zoho China accounts, which paste).
3. A company AI agent that fetches the signature through the MCP server or the API uses the new line on its next email.

The footnote is a plain-text line in small type at the bottom of the signature, so write the web address or the code into the line itself. It is the same for everyone at the company; a line for one person only goes into that person's own mail app.

## Take it off on time

A sale line still under your signature in mid-December offers readers a price that has expired. Signatoro does not take the line off by itself on a date, so plan the end before you start:

1. **Put the end date in the line.** "Ends Monday, November 30" stays accurate after the sale, even on the email of someone who has not pasted the new signature yet.
2. **Add a reminder** for the morning of Tuesday, December 1, for the person who set the line.
3. **Remove the line** on Tuesday. The owner deletes it from the footnote (or turns the footnote off, if the sale line was all it held), and everyone gets their signature without it by email, the same way the sale line arrived. Company AI agents that fetch the signature drop it on their next email.
4. **Check one sent email** from a teammate on Tuesday afternoon, to see that the line is gone.

If the company also closes for Christmas, the same footnote can carry a holiday line from December: the [holiday email signature templates](https://signatoro.com/email-signature-templates/holiday) have examples. For the Thanksgiving days off, see the [Thanksgiving out of office messages](https://signatoro.com/blog/thanksgiving-out-of-office-message).

**One sale line under everyone's signature**

Write the Black Friday line once on Signatoro, send everyone the updated signature, and take it off again on Tuesday.

## Frequently asked questions

### When is Black Friday 2026?

Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26).

### When is Cyber Monday 2026?

Monday, November 30, 2026.

### Should a Black Friday signature be a banner or a line of text?

A line of text reaches every reader, because mail apps that hold back images still show it. A banner is more visible when images load. If you pick a banner, put the offer in its alt text.

### When should I take the sale line off my signature?

On the first morning after the sale ends: Tuesday, December 1, 2026, for a sale that runs to Cyber Monday.

### Can I add the sale line to only some people's signatures?

On Signatoro the company footnote goes under every member's and every company AI agent's signature. For a line on one person's email only, that person pastes it under their own signature in their mail app.
